Northampton County to waive the custodial and facility fees for the GNC.

Velma Bolden, GNC Volunteer, passed away.  Prayers for her family during this time.

Gina, GNC Team Leader at Epworth United Methodist Church, who experiences a great deal of pain and low energy requests prayer for her health and assistance in co-leading the GNC.

March 18 is the GNC at Epworth United Methodist Church’s last day. 

Suffolk Public Schools to keep doors open to the after-school Good News Club program.

“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold your King is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is He, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.” (Zechariah 9:9)

“And the crowds that went before Him and that followed Him were shouting, ” Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!” (Matthew 21:9)

Next Sunday we celebrate Palm Sunday, the start of Holy week, where Jesus enters Jerusalem prior to His death and resurrection. The Jews were celebrating, thinking that Jesus would free them from Roman oppression. We celebrate Palm Sunday because Jesus was coming to have victory over sin, death and Satan. Because of His sacrifice we have victory (salvation) over sin, death and Satan.
