Praises:
Eight new students attended GNC in December including one at Lakeview (answer to prayer)

December Fundraising efforts brought in additional funds for the ministry.

All GNC curriculum for Joseph and Paul has been received.

Woodstock GNC-All the kids on the wait list attended this week.

Prayers:
The startup of two Chesapeake Good News Clubs at Indian River Baptist and Great Bridge Free Will Baptist. Also, pray that God will bring more students to the GNC at Indian River Baptist. There are only two currently registered.

The Good News Clubs at Occohannock, Fairfield, Luxford and Woodstock need more volunteer support.

Upcoming Quick Start Training on January 20.

Peace and comfort for the family of a former Luxford GNC volunteer, Sylvia Williams.

Northampton County to waive the custodial fees for the GNC.

Five volunteers are needed for a potential GNC at College Park Elementary.

“Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way.” (1 Samuel 12:23)

Samuel was not happy about the desire of the children of Israel wanting a king to preside over them, but he was faithful to intercede for them. Intercessory prayer for those who we do not agree with, and are in leadership over us is not easy, but God’s word tells us to do just that (1 Timothy 2:1-2).
