Hey Prayer warriors,

Praises:

REGISTRATION FORMS WERE DISTRIBUTED EARLIER THIS WEEK TO TARRALLTON ELEMENTARY STUDENTS (NORFOLK)!!!! Three have already been returned!

Our fundraising banquet meeting went well on Tuesday and plans are coming together for the April 1st banquet.

Kilby Shores has 2 new volunteers coming on board.

Additional teens have inquired about joining CYIA.

Prayer Requests:

Pray for the family of Carylon Buck, former director of CEF Tidewater for 40 years. She passed away on Wednesday. The funeral is Saturday at 11am at Biltmore Baptist Church, Portsmouth.

Pray for many registration forms to be returned for the Tarrallton GNC and the lives of the students to be changed.

Pray for the principal at Tallwood Elementary in Virginia Beach to agree to a GNC starting there.

Pray for many more guests to commit to coming to the banquet on April 1st.

Pray that the $50,000 goal will be reached.

Team leaders are receiving questions about sexual topics and gender issues and need discernment to know how to carefully handle these topics. Pray for the hearts of the children asking the questions to be receptive hearts.

“Love is patient, love is kind,. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-8) NIV

Paul is painting a picture to the Church in Corinth of God’s love. It can also be a picture of the Love that is shown to the children in our various clubs by our staff, our teachers, our volunteers and our teens. Charles Spurgeon stated that a child of five can understand the Gospel/Salvation. A child of five will also understand the love that our teams have for them.

Yours in Christ,

Carl
