Praises:

After Liberty Counsel sent a letter, Norfolk Public Schools reclassified GNC from religious program to youth group with only custodial fees to pay.

Generous donor gave $500 to pay for the custodial fees at Suburban Park’s GNC.

Luxford, Bettie F. Williams, Hermitage and Woodstock GNCs started this week (10/21-25).

Prayer requests:

Pray for approval of a facility request by the principal for a GNC at Arrowhead in November.

Pray for reduction of $3,920 fee for Portsmouth GNC after resubmission of facility request.

National, State and Local offices in the upcoming election to be filled with individuals who will lead according to biblical principles.

Pastors attending Bridge Network and Virginia Beach Theological Seminary to become involved in either GNC or 5-Day Clubs.

“For God hath not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

As we look at the difficulties before us in reaching children for our Lord, let us remember that we have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit guiding us. The Apostle Paul was simply pointing out to Timothy that God’s purpose and grace (God has a plan) is sufficient for us in sharing the Gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
