An excerpt from “In God we STILL Trust” by Dr. Richard G. Lee
The Bible holds a unique place in American history, politics, religion, and popular culture. God’s Word continuous to transform hearts and lives today.
The secret of my success? It is simple. It is found in the Bible. “In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.”
George Washington Carver, Inventor and Horticulturist
The Word of God tends to make large minded, noble-hearted men.
Henry Ward Beecher, clergyman
The Bible is worth all the other books which have ever been printed.
Patrick Henry, Revolutionary War Leader and Orator
If we and our posterity neglect [the Bible’s] instructions and authority, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us and bury all of our glory in profound obscurity.
Daniel Webster, Statesman, Lawyer and Orator
“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of God stands forever.”(Isaiah 40:8)
God’s Word is as relevant today as it was in the past and will continue into the future. No matter what happens in this country and around the globe, God is still in control.
Yours in Christ,
