Praise:

We have a new CEF President, Mr. Jeremiah Cho, the current director of the Middle East. He and his wife Sarah will move to Warrenton effective August 1, 2022.

From our International Board of Trustees:

Join us for 21 Days of Prayer and fasting, June 23 – July 13:

Here’s how it works:

  • Commit to participate in 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting June 23-July 13 (or as you can).
  • Intentionally pray each day for
  • Direction of our ministry.
  • Unity of our fellowship.
  • Transition of our new president.
  • Continued growth and fruitfulness in ministry.
  • That we do all for the glory of God.

When praying, make your primary goal to know Jesus more and experience Him. Focus first on God’s character, such as His goodness and His greatness, and see everything else through that filter. Commit to a type of fast to help direct your focus toward God. We often think fasting means not eating, but let us share other ways you may fast. Give up something you regularly do, like watch television, engage in social media, browse the internet, or eat lunch and use that time to pray. Then whenever you think about that activity, remember to pray. This will help build a habit of praying without ceasing.

As we go through the summer months I encourage everyone to send in their prayer needs.

Prayers:

For all of the teachers and volunteers we need in the fall.

“Rejoice evermore” (1 Thessalonians 5:16)

As Americans we rejoice and celebrate our Independence Day by gathering with family and having parades in our cities, not with tanks, guns and soldiers marching thru Washington in a display of power and strength. But those Americans who are born again Christians will be “Rejoicing evermore”.

Yours in Christ,

Carl
