This is an excerpt from “IN GOD WE STILL TRUST” By Dr. Richard G. Lee
“But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose coming forth is from of old , from ancient days.”(Micah 5;2)
Robert Morris Page (1903-1992), the physicist known as the “Father of US Radar,” sets forth this apologetic for the Christian Faith:
The authenticity of the writings of the prophets… is established by such things as the prediction of highly significant events far into the future that could be accomplished only through a knowledge obtained from a realm that is not subject to the laws of time as we know them
One of the great evidences is the long series of prophecies concerning Jesus the Messiah. These prophecies extend hundreds of years prior to the birth of Christ. They include a vast amount of detail concerning Christ Himself, His nature and the things He would do when He came-things which the natural world, or the scientific world, remain to this day inexplicable.
On this Christmas we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, predicted long ago, happened over two thousand years ago and many still refuse to believe. Praise the Lord for all those who believe and are still spreading the Gospel.
Yours in Christ,
Carl
