Hey everyone,

On this upcoming Thanksgiving Day, what are we thankful for?

What is on your list?

A God that loves us and suffered on the cross for us.

A place to worship our Lord and Savior.

Our families and loved ones.

Jobs and a place to live.

Health care and those who protect us.

 Prayer:

My sister-in-law, Anne Hancock (A believer) is facing chemo therapy for stage IV cancer.

 Praise:

Tracy’s gums are healing. Still on the mend.

 Continued Prayer:

For more students to register.

For the potential of an ASGNC on Eastern Shore in February.

Pray for a revival throughout our nation.

Pray daily for opportunities to witness.

Continued prayers for those still left in Afghanistan.

Prayers for those dealing with our Southern Border.

 Ongoing Personal Prayer Request:

Ammie Kinsey-Team Leader   Doing well, continued prayer for healing while battling cancer. 

Pray for the son-in-law of one of the volunteers who was waiting (Still waiting as of 5-12-21) on a visa to China. He and his wife received their visas but not their children. They are all here in the states seeking clear direction from God.

Pray for Alyssa (Robin Berns daughter ), a doctor in New York helping COVID-19 patients.

Prayer that Stephen Tyndall’s cancer will continue to shrink.

Tracy’s gums to heal and gum graft to be successful (One year for healing).

Pray for Truman and Marilyn Close as Truman (On our Tidewater CEF committee) has Parkinson’s.

  1. Pray  for new sponsors to support new clubs.
  2. Pray for schools to allow clubs to return so that we can have face to face clubs.
  3. Pray for more volunteers to help in the GNC’s for Corporate Landing, Indian Lakes and Luxford Elementary.
  4. Pray for Corporate Landing as they are looking for a facility to hold their club twice a month on Saturdays.
  5. Pray that more children will attend clubs.
  6. Pray God’s will concerning Red Church sponsoring Windsor Woods and/or Windsor Oaks Elementary.

Stephanie Foley:

  1. Power of the Holy Spirit (Zech. 4:6).
  2. Bayside Baptist to sponsor Hermitage Elementary.
  3. Discover Church to start a virtual club at Hickory Elementary.
  4. More unchurched kids to go to sponsoring churches.
  5. Favor for Christian School Chapels for CYIA recruitment.
  6. London Bridge Baptist to sponsor ASGNC.

Lynn Parker:

  1. That more children will be registered for GNC’s.
  2. That we will eventually get back to the schools.

Barb Patton:

  1. Pray for the churches and schools that are targeted for expansion (new clubs): Sherwood Forest, Crossroads, Willard Model and Little Creek Elementary Schools .

Continue to pray for the volunteer experiencing double vision.  The doctor has noted an improvement in her eyes, but it may still take another 6 weeks for her eyes to be completely healed.

Club requests:

Julian-Pray for his mom’s books to sell out on Amazon.

Kaelyn-Pray for her teacher who is having heart problems and will be out of school for a while.

Ellen- please pray for her neighbor who is having heart issues.

Aaron- pray for his dog who is having a problem with his ear.

Terry-Pray for those who are still experiencing lingering side effects from covid.

Pray for the husband of a volunteer who is experiencing some physical difficulties.

Pray for our niece’s daughter who was just diagnosed with cancer and is facing surgery and chemotherapy.

Pray for a friend who suffered a heart attack and is having leakage from a stent that was put in.

Barb-Her aunt died – pray for safe travel as her sister takes her parents to the funeral service several hours away.

 What a day that will be when we enter the gates with thanksgiving.
