Hey everyone,
On Thursday we celebrated Veterans Day (Armistice Day). As a veteran I am thankful for the Lord placing me in this country and for those who served before me and those serving now to protect my freedom to be able to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ without fear.

Al Grills went home to be with his Lord and Savior. Prayers for Jan and their extended family.
Praise:
Makayla will be filling the position as part time helper for Tracy.
Continued Prayer:
Pray for a revival throughout our nation.
Pray daily for opportunities to witness.
Continued prayers for those still left in Afghanistan.
Prayers for those dealing with our Southern Border.
Ongoing Personal Prayer Request:
Ammie Kinsey-Team Leader Doing well, continued prayer for healing while battling cancer.
Pray for the son-in-law of one of the volunteers who was waiting (Still waiting as of 5-12-21) on a visa to China. He and his wife received their visas but not their children. They are all here in the states seeking clear direction from God.
Pray for Alyssa (Robin Berns daughter ), a doctor in New York helping COVID-19 patients.
Prayer that Stephen Tyndall’s cancer will continue to shrink.
Tracy’s gums to heal and gum graft to be successful (One year for healing).
Pray for Truman and Marilyn Close as Truman (On our Tidewater CEF committee) has Parkinson’s.

- Pray for schools to allow clubs to return so that we can have face to face clubs.
- Pray for Corporate Landing and Rosemont Forest clubs as they are plan to combine clubs and are looking for a facility to hold their club as they would like to meet face to face.
- Pray for more volunteers to help in the GNC.
- Pray for an interpreter for the Corporate Landing Club.
Stephanie Foley:
- Power of the Holy Spirit (Zech. 4:6).
- Bayside Baptist to sponsor Hermitage Elementary.
- Discover Church to start a virtual club at Hickory Elementary.
- More unchurched kids to go to sponsoring churches.
- Fruitful Evangelistic Outreach- CEF table Oct. 30th, 2021.
- London Bridge Baptist to sponsor ASGNC.
Lynn Parker:
- Pray that Metropolitan Baptist Church will sponsor an ASGNC in the local area in the near future.
- Successful recruitment of children for GNC.
- Pray that the Principal will allow registration forms to be distributed at LVES.
- Pray that parents will complete registration forms for Douglas Park Elementary School (DPES) students’ participation in online club.

Praise! We had another friend join us this week!
Continue to pray for the volunteer experiencing double vision. The doctor has noted an improvement in her eyes, but it may still take another 6 weeks for her eyes to be completely healed.
Club requests:
Julian-Pray for his grades and that his cold will get better.
Kaelyn-Pray for her teacher who is having heart problems and will be out of school for a while. Pray for 5 classmates that went home because they were not feeling well.
Jada-Pray that everyone wakes up feeling good tomorrow
Terry-Pray for those who are still experiencing lingering side effects from covid.
Pray for the husband of a volunteer who is experiencing some physical difficulties.
“He shall judge between the nations, and shall decide disputes for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.”(Isaiah 2:4)
One day, warriors will not be needed to protect us from evil. Jesus will rule and reign over us.
