Prayers answered…

  1. Portsmouth Public Schools waived ASGNC® fees.
  2. Biltmore Baptist Church provided $1,000 towards starting a new ASGNC in Portsmouth.
  3.  Sondra and Roy Howe (TrinityChurch, Oceanfront) will volunteer.
  4. Shelton Park has plenty of volunteers for school year
  5. Woodland Heights Baptist and Breezie Hutcheson (Team Leader) are hoping to start a new ASGNC at Sparrow Road Intermediate for this school year.
We also have been blessed from the Lord with the following new prayer warriors:

  • Pray that the  following churches will want to sponsor After School Good News Clubs
  • First Baptist (Greenbrier Primary)
  • Thalia Lynn Baptist Church (Thalia Lynn Elementary).
Pray for open doors with all volunteers completing background checks and that schools will be open and receptive to having an ASGNC.
  1. Pray for Brenda Pence and a team of volunteers working with the deaf and hearing impaired as they move through background checks in preparation for ASGNC to start at Corporate Landing Elementary School.
  2. Calvary Evangelical Baptist in Portsmouth wants to open second club and sent facility
  3. request to different school, Douglass Park.  Please pray for God to Move in Portsmouth
  4. Please pray that Douglass Park elementary school will be receptive
  5. Please pray for God’s Blessings over Hodges Manor as there has been opposition from Administration to start an ASGNC.
The following clubs need volunteers and may close please pray to the Lord of the Harvest to supply the desperately needed volunteers:

  3. Thoroughgood
  4. Rosemont Forest
  5. IndianLakes
  6. Northern Shores
  7. Woodstock
Please continue to pray for God’s prompting that all volunteers will complete background requirements as this is time sensitive and most clubs open in October 2019 .

  4. CEF informational table at seminary event at Colonial Baptist on October 24
  5. Presentation at Eastminster Presbyterian on September 29
  6. At least 6 teens for 2020 CYIA

Please Oh Lord please the labourers into the CEF Tidewater Harvest — Thank you Lord for helping us–we praise You!!!
